Waving Moose is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, offering a personal writing, research, print and web design service to small business and individuals UK-wide and particularly around Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
Our aim is to help you present your business or service in a clear and understandable way, as well as making a memorable visual impact on prospective customers. We therefore offer both distinctive design services tailored to the impression you want to make; and the services of a professional writer to help you with the text content.
If you know what you want to say - that's fine -
we will present it appropriately and imaginatively.
If you don't know quite what you want to say - that's fine too -
we will research and write it for you.
Who Are We?
Waving Moose Communications is the trading name of Sam Collins. Sam has spent most of her life coming up with words and putting them in the right place. She has written practically everything in her time - speeches, briefings, presentations, websites, leaflets, information booklets, newspaper and magazine articles, fictional tales and song lyrics. She is also currently working on a novel. In all these areas, she shows that it is not just what you say but how you say it, including how it looks on the page.
She's also been about a bit! She has worked in administration, management and promotion for private and public sector organisations; as a therapist; as a musician and in her own businesses - including Waving Moose, Distinctive Web Design and a small record label, Gargoyle Records.
Sam has particular interest and experience in writing for business and service providers, across subjects as wide-ranging as psychology, health and wellbeing, alternative health and complementary therapy, climate change, environment and business resource efficiency issues, law, music, heritage, performance and creative arts.
Her clients and contacts seem to appreciate these mix of skills. You'll be dealing with someone with a bit of experience in the world, who listens well, doesn't talk too much, picks up issues quickly and can offer ideas and solutions for your business (if you need them!); as well as being able to find the words and conceive and deliver the visual framework that are most appropriate and effective for your needs and budget.
